Ukraine is ready today to ensure the foreign investments inflow efficiently, President Viktor Yushchenko told the 4th International Investors Conference in Kyiv.

In 2008, Ukraine will propose one of the most contemporary privatization plans in Europe.

President Yushchenko assured that Ukraine will sell no facility in 2008 on conditions designed for a particular buyer and all privatization processes will be in line with international standards. "I guarantee this," he stressed addressing businessmen.

He is also convinced that Ukraine will shortly form a transparent land market. The President also said Ukraine is expected to adopt a new tax code this year to ensure reduction of the tax burden on the business and enhance the assessment basis.
